Name That Book Team
Name That Book is an HISD competition sponsored by the Department of Library Services. Two teams are formed made up of students in grades K-2 and 3-5. Each team works together to read and study a list of 25 books. At the district competition in March, teams are given quotes or clues and work together to name the book that the quote came from. If you love to read, have a good memory for detail, and can dedicate time to reading and rereading the books on the list, you may enjoy Name That Book!

Please read all information in the documents on the right. You must read the 10 books chosen for tryouts.
Tryouts for grades K-2 are on September 22 from 3:00-4:00.
Tryouts for grades 3-5 are on September 29 from 3:00-4:00.
